In world war 1 there were many inventions that impacted the war greatly and still impact us today and continue to advance and evolve in modern day. Below are some that I feel are very crucial and some of the most important. Once again these are a personal opinion and I feel as if the war would have been so much different had these 8 inventions never came around.

the very first tank was called the British Mark 1 and saw combat for the the first time in September of 1916. The tanks were very slow moving at roughly 2 MPH. Poisonous gas was used by both sides but as the war went on gas masks were invented and soon the gas was no longer killing soldiers due to the masks. Interrupter gear was created so that you could have a plane and shoot out the front. The gear allowed it so that whenever it shot it wouldn't damage to propellers because the gun would stop when the propellor was in front of it and it would shoot when there were gaps, hence the name "interruptor". Lastly tracer bullets were made so that you could see where you were shooting at night. The British made it to where it would leave behind a phosphorescent trail.
